BANS is another great website program, yet it is solely aimed at building Niche websites, based on products listed at eBay. Which is great if you are not yet ready to carry your own stock or go drop shipping and want access to millions of products.

Bans is different to a lot of website programs as it is a Server sided application. Yet do not let it scare you as the manual is very good and if you follow the instructions you will have your store installed in less than half an hour. Provided you have a domain name and a hosting provider already. They recommend Hostgator as do we. All of our sites are with Hostgator. So if you have ever wanted to try an online business, BANS is probably the easiest way to get your feet wet as far as the learning curve, product sourcing and initial set-up goes.

Almost forgot to let you know that BANS has an inbuilt WYSIWYG program, which makes customizing your webpages content very easy. Also you are allowed to use BANS on as many websites that you own, without limitation.

If you are looking for free website design software we recommend NVU, which is a great piece of website design software as well as being free seeing as it is Open Source software.

If you need software for your image manipulation, we recommend Gimp, which is similar to Photoshop, yet it is free website software, being Open Source like NVU.
