Reciprical link Programs

Not trying to be an alarmist but if you want to get to the top of the Organic Search Results with your web site you will need links. When I first started, I raced out with that being basically all I knew, so just went after links. Had the reciprical links being handled through another company, who install thier script (program) on your server for you and everything goes through their servers. Which was all good till my link pages were down and I could not contact them for days. Happened to me twice and lost over 2000 link partners through it. I was totally gutted, almost quit the internet that week.

Which is why I now use a reciprical link program that only I control. Would recommend that you get a Reciprical link program of your own, as in the example I used above had benn using a lot of the ways listed above to find link partners and when their Spiders found no link back to them as my link pages were not there they simply deleted my link and there went about 300 hours work down the drain.

So when looking at link programs you will need to way them up for yourself. The factors I looked for when I was searching for one were;

1. ease of use and installation
2. being able to apply for links from within the program
3. Being able to check if other sites are still linking back to me with my own spider
4. Being able to set it all up so that most things are on auto mode
5. Easily being able to customize the look of my link pages.
6. Having an application page for others to apply for links from, which has a filter system where you can insert words that you do not want to link with, the spider checks their site for those words and the page rank as well as your link being on the same domain. Is the way mine is set up.

Using the filters is not compulsive, but it does save you from having to check each link before accepting or denying a link from another site, which makes it totally automated :) if you do use the filters as then anyone who fits the profile that you have chosen notto link to will be unable to link to you, and all of the others will result in a link exchange. 

Also there are a lot of link programs around so have a look at a few and way-up the features. This is one place that you do not want to skimp, features are everything when choosing your link program, if you set it up properly from the beginning with the right program it will pay you back many times over in the time that it will save you from then on out.

Below is the reciprical link progam that I am using on my sites. Is easy to use. You can also use the basic version for free, but there are less features. When you first install it it is the full version for the trial period so that you can see if it is for you or not, after the trial period only the free features of the program will work if you decide not to buy it. Also it will self install if you like that idea, I did on my sites, it was actually the point that made the differance for me in deciding from the short list of programs after narrowing them all down.

Apart from easily getting links, being able to monitor them and do all of the associated work involved with linking from one place is crucial, specially if you can automate over 90% of the work, as that frees up your time.

It is well worth the time to have a look and a read of what it can actually do.
